To reset your account password using biometrics:

1. Ask one of your Trusted Friends to start an In-app Recovery for you
2. Once you receive an In-app Recovery link, tap it and follow the instructions

Your Trusted Friend should:

1. Go to Settings > Trusted Friends
2. Open the item with your name/email address
3. Tap the “Start Recovery” button and choose “In-app Recovery”.

NOTE: Reseting your password using the In-App Recovery will reset your Security Kit, too. Make sure you save your new Security Kit somewhere safe.

To be able to reset your password using biometrics, first you need to have your biometrics enabled.

To enable biometrics:

1. Go to Settings > Security
2. Turn on Face ID Unlock or Touch ID / Fingerprint Unlock depending on the device

You also need to have a Trusted Friend. If you don’t have Trusted Friends yet, you can:

1. Go to Settings > Trusted Friends
2. Tap “Add Trusted Friend”, enter the name of your friend (optional) and email of your friend (required)
3. Tap “Send Request”

Once your Trusted Friend accepts the request, a Trusted Friend item with his/her name/email address will show up in the Trusted Friends list.
